SUMMER TRAINING CAMP "ROAD TO ELITE" - LEPPAVIRTA, FINLAND

HС «RED STAR» and «AT HOCKEY ACADEMY» invite to the summer international training camp for improving individual sports skills «ROAD TO ELITE», which will be held at the Sport & Spa Hotel Vesileppis base in LEPPAVIRTA,  FINLAND.

Picturesque nature of Finland, modern sport facilities including ice rink, soccer fields and basketball courts in the open air, a gym for games-based sports, a gym with fitness machines, a squash center, tennis lawns, an acrobatic gym and other sport infrastructure, comfortable accommodation, proper sport nutrition and traditional Scandinavian hospitality will make your sport summer busy and efficient.

This year, our summer workouts will be held for the second time in the format of a sports camp, in which, in addition to Russian kids, kids from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, USA, China and other countries will participate. And this means that the guys expect new acquaintances and exciting confrontations in sports games, which, by tradition, in the framework of our educational program will be very meny

Time of the shifts at training camp "Road to the Elite":

1-st shift    24-th  – 29-th of June 2019 (arrival at 23-d of June)                                           

2-nd shift     1-st  –   6-th of July 2019 (arrival at 30-th of June)

3-d shift       8-th  – 13-th of July 2019 (arrival at 7-th of July)

Age of participents

Senior group – Juniors of 2002-2003-2004 years of birth.

Middle group – kids of 2005-2006-2007 years of birth.

Junior group – kids of 2008-2009-20010-2011 years of birth.

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE EDUCATIONAL TRAINING PROCESS

1. Physical training:

1.1. General physical training - achieving a high level of physical performance, improving physical qualities, aimed at the full and harmonious physical development of an athlete. Increase of functional capabilities, general working capacity, creation of a base and foundation for special training and achievement of high sports results.

1.2. Cardiopreparation - a complex work of a cardiological orientation with the use of equipment Power Athletics, a specialized cardioguide of a functional orientation

1.3. Training on the program "Balance and Stability" - a program to improve dexterity, coordination and balance, work on an unstable surface of all levels of complexity (BosuBalance, BalanceBoard,).

1.4. Special physical training - working with moving loads on specialized equipment Power Athletics, comprehensive work on a specialized obstacle course.

1.5. Power and speed-strength training – Power Athletics load systems with the effect of overcoming resistance, working with its own weight, free weights, cargo-handling equipment.

1.6. Plyometric preparation - JampBox, PlyoMaxed, RussianBox, Plio-city.

2. Technical training:

2.1. Technique of movement on skates - smooth running, maneuverable skating, volume skating, starts and braking, turns, transitions, switching;

2.2. Technique of stick handling and puck control - dribbling, stroking, receiving and passing the puck, practice of all tipes of throwing puck on goal. Systems of counteraction ShotSling, SpeedSling, TapePasser.

3. Tactical training:

3.1. Individual tactical training - the development of operational and tactical thinking: game exercises from core and non-core sports, work in tight spaces and under time pressure, individual tactics of the game in attack; individual tactics of the game in defense.

3.2. Group tactical training - hockey theory and tactics, video analysis of game situations, group and team interaction.
